How we can help

Choose the type of care closest to your concern, or contact us if you are unsure where to start.

Pain and stiffness

Orthopedic physical therapy for pain, stiffness, muscle and joint problems and arthritis-related movement limitations. We assess how the problem affects sitting, reaching, bending, stairs and your other daily needs, then discuss a plan focused on them.

Recovery after an injury

Rehabilitation focused on the movement, strength and function you need to return to work, exercise and everyday activities. Your therapist assesses your movement, strength and activity limitations, then develops a care plan that considers your stage of healing, any medical precautions and your goals for returning to activity.

Rehabilitation after surgery and joint replacement

Rehabilitation after joint replacement and other orthopedic surgery, focused on movement, strength and everyday function. Your plan takes account of your procedure, stage of recovery and your surgical team’s instructions.

Dizziness and vertigo (vestibular rehabilitation)

Assessment and treatment for appropriate dizziness and vertigo concerns, including positional vertigo known as BPPV. Your assessment guides next steps, including vestibular rehabilitation or medical evaluation as needed.

Balance, walking and fall-risk reduction

Assessment and rehabilitation for unsteadiness, walking difficulties and factors that contribute to falls. Your therapy plan may include balance exercises, strengthening and walking practice to help you move more safely and confidently.

Neurological rehabilitation

Rehabilitation for difficulties with movement, strength, coordination and balance associated with neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and neuropathy.

A few answers before you get started

How quickly can I get an appointment?

New-patient evaluations are often available within two business days. Call or submit a request to check current availability.

Do I need a referral?

You can contact us without one. We will help check what is needed for your visit and your insurance plan.

Do I need a diagnosis first?

No. Tell us what you are experiencing. Your physical therapist will assess your concerns and discuss appropriate next steps.

Will my insurance cover my visits?

We are in-network with Medicare, Medicare Railroad, Mass General Brigham, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Aetna, TRICARE, BCBS and Harvard Pilgrim. Services for other plans, excluding Medicaid, are out-of-network and subject to clinic benefit verification. We are not a Medicaid provider. Coverage depends on your specific plan.
